We’ve been experiencing new milestones at our house lately.

Naftalie is growing into her ability to communicate with me, which has been fascinating to experience. She can tell me when she wants to nurse, and when she wants to be held. She is exploring around this wood floored home as best as she can, and getting more proficient every day. Her fine motor skills are improving as she uses her pincher fingers to pick up bits of food (and lint, etc. off the floor). Two teeth are barely making their appearance.  She’s often heard practicing her consonants: currently “ba” “ma” and “da”. And we’re eating more and more table food and new cuisine (she snarfed down the Thai dishes we shared with her yesterday).

We’re having a blast.

I’m. in. love. deeply. She’s too precious! Oh the eyes and her sweet countenance! She’s always thought deeper than her age and has such a serenity. I love this child! I can’t wait to see her again.

If her eyes haven’t changed by now I think she’ll keep them. I’ve commented to Shannon how blue they are. The boys will love them.
