When Naftalie was born I felt inspired to live with more innocence, because when you were with her the purity was (is) palpable. Every critical thought, insensitive comment, or snide remark seemed to be pure evil in her presence. Honestly this inspiration has waned, but every once in a while I look at her face of absolute purity and I am reminded to have Faith and to Love with a childlike heart.

I love this, Shannon. Sometimes we get caught up in life, and in the moment, we we say things that are just so hurtful. Life would be so much better, so much happier if we all could love with a childlike heart.

And by the way, I love Naftalie’s outfit! 😉

I made sure to remind her it was from Brandon and Dana. :O)

This picture is so precious! And I love how innocent babies are, and how they make the people around them want to be better, kinder, happier people.

What a beautiful photo, I love the way you go for a really close depth of field–it’s so dramatic and really captures her face. I’m sending this photo onto Grandad. I just love it, thanks as always for sharing your life and thoughts with us Shannon.

What a great picture. You really have an eye for this. You’re setting the bar pretty high for the next little Finer!!
