Our little girl just keeps growing up.

She continues to babble and practice her assortment of consonants and vowels. We got down and dirty last week in the yard and had our first taste of soil. She’s mimicking our movements (Danny raising his hand and Naftalie following suit) and continually engaging with us. Eating is still not one of her favorite activities: she’s interested for a few bites and then she’s finished.

Her sweet spirit and overwhelming innocence is still palpable and I believe is a permanent part of her personality. Sometimes I think we look at her and we just can’t believe how much we adore her. Danny’s been calling her “widdle” lately, often greeting her with “you widdle, ah you widdle!”.

This is never going to get old. I’m still love drunk with this kiddo.

So happy for you guys Shannon. I remember Danny had very little interest in food by the time he started walking, but things evened out later–obviously. And her birthday is coming up, I can hardly believe it’s almost been a year!

She IS sweetness and innocence and purity! It exudes in her countenance and demeanor. What a precious child! Thanks for this morning. It was a gift:) And I agree with her Meme…..I can’t believe she’s almost a year old!

What a doll. Love drunk is a good word. I am still there with my kids. It feels great and is painful at the same time.
